Excellent for damp basement

Quiet and Efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dehumidifier two months ago. It is a powerful unit. I am using it in my basement to control the moisture. The unit has a good fan that keeps the air circulating very well. I use the hose drain so the unit can run continuously without any intervention on my part. So far, great unit!

Powerful little dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to help pull the moisture out of a room that got some minor flooding during our last wet winter. It worked great. I didn't have an easy way to set up a larger model that required a hose to drain the water. I needed one with an interior cup to catch the water. At first I had to empty it every few hours, but as the moisture in the room was reduced I could let it run while I was at work all day & empty it when I got home.
This was a much better option for me than renting a big one from a hardware store for the reason mentioned above & because I am a single woman who couldn't carry the large model up & down my basement steps on my own. This little one was light enough for me to carry it on my own. Lastly, I needed to run this for at least a week & it was much more cost effective than renting one.

Easy to operate and relocate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this product in August and I can happily say that stereotypical musty basement smell is finally gone. I was disappointed that I had to empty the tank twice a day, consider my basement is only 900 sq ft. However I hooked up a hose to drain it to my sump pump so I no longer have to worry about it filling.

Unit satisfies my requirements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not like closing up my space in order to air condition but my ground floor space gets very humid, so this unit was very satisfactory in removing moisture from the air and when the humidity level went down, I was able to easily throw open all windows!
