[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were amazed at how much moisture our 70 ounce Dehumidifier pulls out of the air. We bought a second for a smaller room where we keep some valuable antique furniture. So far, so good. Both units tend to keep running for some time after desired level of humidity is reached and the smaller unit almost never turns off, but both rooms are so much more comfortable and our valued possessions in much more appropriate environments.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Continuous drain feature stopped working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using for a month and it was working great. Then the continuous drain feature stopped working. I'm still trouble shooting to see if I can get it back to continuous drain again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, K Link. Please ensure the unit is set to a proper setting (low enough RH% so the unit turns on) and a garden hose is connected properly and tight enough. Remember your garden hose should be 11/16" (17.5 mm) or larger in diameter and the garden hose should not be “kinked” and must allow water to flow “downhill” (refer to install instructions for more info). Also, check the garden hose for any debris, tears or holes. Hope this helps!

Excellent Results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dehumidifier 3 weeks ago for my 1000ft basement. It wasn't very problematic but was about 70% humidity, even after I had sealed up any obvious areas of water seepage.
I don't have a drain in my basement so added a Little Giant condenser pump alongside the unit and ran a pipe outside to a drain. I found it works extremely well now and has reached and maintains 45% humidity. It then shuts off at this point but the fan will come on to check the air every few minutes. If the humidity rises it will switch on the condenser until the levels return to the setting.
I found it runs almost continually in the first few days as it clears the residual water but after this is is a lot less active.
It is also quiet and seems very efficient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Placed in my very damp basement, followed directions, in 2 days I had a dry basement! Note: old owners took their dehumidifier with them so I was without for a week and my basement became very damp and sticky. So when I put the Frigidaire in it dried everything right up!
