[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this several weeks ago to help with the high humidity in a 1967 rental house. It works great, is relatively quiet and has kept the moisture at bay in the basement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to reduce humidity in wine cellar. Did not realize that the unit gives off heat during operation. Raised cellar temperature by 10 degrees. Does its job in reducing humidity but the heat was an unfortunate byproduct.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this 30 pint dehumidifier after being disappointed by one of those small whisper quiet ones. You can hear it; but, it is a steady soothing white-noise as opposed to the loud one I have for the basement. It picks up the excessive water quickly and I don't even have to keep it on.
