I have accomplished that and now enjoy a comfortable 45%. A 20% drop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it really decreases the humidity . Its easy to roll around . I use it when cooking mostly but it hasn't rained yet so not sure. Its a little noisy on high but tolerable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in the summer to take some of the moisture out of my basement, it's fantastic. Within a couple days I could feel the difference, and it continued to maintain a perfect level of comfort throughout the season. I work form home and my office is in the basement. This Frigidaire dehumidifier made the environment very comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted to buy this unit for 2 years but waited until a month ago to do so. I am very happy that I did. The unit pull out of the air about 60 pint of water a day from my bathroom, which has no ventilation. I almost bought a small unit with Peltier technology because of its size and low noise level.
This unit is very easy to use. Emptying the water is a breeze. It is well made.

Frigidaire Model FFAD3033R1 Dehumidifier Perfect
