[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quite happy with this dehumidifier. Keeps 1,800 sq. ft. house at 50%. Without it would be 70-75%. Good unit at a good price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dehumidifier about a month ago and it seems quite sturdy and has been very dependable. I plan to figure out how to attach a drain hose, since the contained bucket fills twice daily and I would prefer not having to dump the water as regularly as I have been.

30 pt -Not sure it works as well as advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in June 2018 and have had it running in my basement since July. The square footage of my area is 1300. It is running continuously. I have only manage to get the humidity to 53%. If I close off 1/2 of the area, I can get the humidity down to 43%. I am not sure if this is due to the 30 pint size or just the product. If I was mistaken and it was not meant for a 1500 sqft area and only for a 750 sqft area, then maybe it is okay. It is definitely quite. I am eventually going to replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A 30 pint dehumidifier will cover up to 300 square feet in a moderate or slightly damp area.
Based on the information provided, you may need a 70 pint dehumidifier. A 70 pint dehumidifier with a wet dampness level is recommended for 700 square feet. A very damp or wet dampness level is recommended for 1000 square feet; while a slight or moderate dampness level is recommended for 1500 square feet. We hope this helps!

Bucket too small, replaces unit with 50 pint unit.
