Live in Florida and put it in the camper shower when not in use. Water drains to the gray water tank.

Great for removing moisture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am satisfied with the unit. I would have purchased a 70 pint had I known how much moisture we were dealing with. The unit keeps the moisture level at 55.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Followed instructions to run constantly for first few days to get rid of 'smells' and then switched to 55% humidity (dehumidifier is in a laundry room where some stuff is left to air-dry); worked perfectly. Sensor apparently quite accurate; device runs full time until stuff is dry and then intermittently roughly paralleling how humid the weather outside is. Very pleased. First Frigidaire..... we'll see how durable it is..... other brands I've had have lasted surprisingly variable lengths of time (refrigerant leaks out), and durability does not follow price, at least in my experience.

I keep it running full time (humidity setting is selectable) and the apartment feels a couple degrees cooler with the same A/C thermostat setting. I recently left it running while I was gone for a week and the external drain feature was very simple to hook up.
