Very Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though this dehumidifier is smaller than the one it replaced, it does a good job. Since it doesn't hold a lot of water, we have it draining directly into a basement sink and it is working out very well. We especially like how quiet it is.

Doing the job!

Two years of problem free operation

I have been using this dehumidifier now for two summers and it's worked flawlessly, been problem free, and keeps the humidity in the house at the setpoint. I have been totally satisfied with this unit and recommend it to anyone considering purchasing it.

Does a Great Job

I purchased 2 of these, one for my house and one for my mother's house. They are installed in the house basements (located in Massachusetts)and I run them all summer long to maintain a proper humidity level. They have performed very well.

The worst product I ever purchased

Only works if you set the humidity to 35% and the it is too dry. Do not buy it

The dehumidifier will run until it reaches that humidity, and it may or may not be water in the bucket, depending on the dampness level within that location.

Profound Disappointment

Frigidaire replaced my previous 2-year old dehumidifier as I kept getting a fault error that would not clear so it stopped operating...kudos to them. However, this 2nd dehumidifier has the same inherent flaw (hose to sump pump) issue as the previous identical model. Have hose running to sump pump and works fine...for a time. Then, I'll discover that the dehumidifier has shut off because the bucket is full. This happens again, and again, and... There is nothing/no one disturbing the hose, so it is simply perplexing. I have had less expensive models that have not given me this much trouble. Would not purchase again. If you don't care about running it to the sump pump, it is quiet and def does a great job dehumidifying which is was I opted for 3-stars vice anything lower. For this latter reason, it would be worth the investment for those in this category.
