A good purchase

I don't have HD service on my Dish connection, but it is a good enough picture without it. It was easy to set up and install with the help of a friend. I don't use most of the features on it as I only watch TV a few hours a day and occasional DVD movies from the library. I'm a senior and more of a reader than a tv watcher.

I have only had this TV for eleven days and I am really very happy that I bought it. It replaced my analog TV and digital box, so right there I am ahead. But, the picture is gorgeous and the onscreen set up is easy to work with. Some tech knowledge is always helpful especially nowadays when no matter how much you spend you don't get a manual. I had to download it to my PC. I do recommend the Bravia TV 40 inch that has captured my heart. I probably need to get a life, but I do love it.

Picture is good, however we have problems with the audio changing from soft to loud when we change channels.

2 -go to settings and press enter to display the settings options
3- go down to sound setting and press enter
4- go to sound adjustments settings and press enter
5- move down to find the advance auto volume and set it to normal
6- test the unit
