Great TV

My first Flat Panel TV. Spectacular picture. Easy to mount. Lots of inputs and outputs. Wifi seems to work fine as well. Mine is plugged directly into the network now and that seems to work just fine too. My computer uses it as a second monitor through HDMI, so I can play videos and games on "The System" with the Bose Surround. I don't have a clue what the sound is like on the TV since I never use its speakers. Computers can also use the sound system through the WIFI on the TV. I love it. The Kids love it for their game systems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the built-in media player, which plays files of all types.
I access the USB input with an extension cord since there is no front panel input.
The onscreen TV guide is quite handy for seeing what's on the over-the-air channels.
Also, you can turn the picture off-on with the press of a single button, ideal for times when you're just listening and want to save energy.
My only complaint is that it takes about a dozen button presses to access "settings/preferences".
Great picture, great sound, great set!

I am so pleased with my new Sony 40 inch W600B HD TV. It offers an outstanding picture. Set up was extremely easy. The Smart TV portion takes some getting use to such as maneuvering around to different menus. Another thing I like about it is the weight. It is very easy to move around.

Very thin surround so the physical size is pretty close to the viewable screen size. This was important as it ensures the "large screen" doesn't overpower the room.
The picture and sound are top-shelf, as is the remote and we especially like the on-board Netflix.
Best improvement over our older Bravia: the weight - its light.
How to improve it? Add a couple of AC outlets on the back panel for the DVR and DVD recorders and players.
