Great tv!

I love the picture and resolution when I play videogames and watching Hulu Plus. Love the Game Mode settings when I play the Ps4 and Xbox One. The sound quality is a little distorted, but when I hook it up into a surround sound the sound quality is better. Overall it's a great tv.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The 40” (diag.) Sony W600B Series LED HDTV exemplifies some of the most spectacular and vivid colors of all screen-viewing devices currently on the market today. I recently watched The Sound of Music (1965) on Blu-ray; I must say the visual experience was simply breath taking.

Only time will tell how good or how very good and excellent this SONY 40" display has been. So far it has been quite breathtaking as a TV and audio/video device. The TV is connected to my audio gear (via HDMI and Toslink), but the TV's audio features are superb. The built-in speakers are more than adequate: their sound easily fills the listening space and reproduces the audible sound spectrum with realistic effect, although the very low frequencies (lowest bass notes) cannot be reproduced by those built-in speakers. However, with headphones connected to the headphone jack, the full audio spectrum comes through and sounds excellent and pure.
I've had only SONY TV's since the Trinitron was available, including a Trinitron display for my computer. Possibly I'm conditioned to prefer by an order of no small magnitude the SONY video experience, and to behold it as a delight and a treasure. I also imagine that the video preferences of the SONY TV engineers are likewise so conditioned, which would account for the quite beautiful picture qualities and overall visual experience.
The TV came very well-protected with recycled cardboard confetti for insulation and shock absorption, inside a stiff and sturdy cardboard carton, well-sealed, yet with punch-through side holes for gripping. The display was loosely sealed in a thin plasticine blanket, the display's front was protected with a static-adhering film that peels off, and the power cord and power adapter and accessories were packaged in a separate carton that was taped inside the sturdy container.
The graphical directions for assembly posed no problems. I attached the metal table-top stand and find the look and effect pleasing along with the solid stability it offers (after-market lazy susan turrets are available if the TV needs to be rotated) . I like the idea of an external power transformer/adapter. So far, so good.
I have not adjusted or changed any of the picture or color settings; the factory settings suit me perfectly. The built-in WiFi and Internet features (a connection to the Internet is required for the Internet features) are easy to use thanks to the intuitive menu and the remote.
And it's a great bargain for the consumer.

Very good picture

It does have an extremely good picture and I am using it with terrestrial HD antenna and not cable or satellite. Negative is the menu, it is not very intuitive in my eyes and I was not able to figure out how to change the channel orders. I still rate it four stars since most TVs from the competition are not much better when it comes to usability. You would wish it was a TV from Apple since they probably would get it right.

This 40" TV has a beautiful picture and is a lovely accessory in my den. I wanted more volume in the sound, so I bought SONY HDM1 speakers which has made a fantastic upgrade.
