Picture quality diminished

I’m a Sony TV fan for over 20 years, and never had any other TV, but Sony. When Sony announced this smart TV and its price, I was impatiently waiting for its arrival and expectations were high. Guess what, now I’m really disappointed. I have recently purchased an R-series model and when comparing both - picture quality of this W-series one is not pleasing my eye like Sony always did (R-series is up to Sony's usual standards, btw). Smart TV for this money is great, indeed. But where is RED color on this TV? It’s more like over-saturated orange. Other colors are fine, though. Skin tones are brownish and not natural. Sony had always great lifelike picture, particularly skin colors. Obviously company did something wrong to reduce production cost. This is NOT the usual Sony picture quality. Played with adjustments with no success and decided to return.

Rad TV, but.......

There are a few things about the TV that are really only able to be noticed & either annoyed by or not once you've got it all hooked up. First- the green light. There is a green light that is ALWAYS on on the bottom & I find it incredibly distracting. I really liked the slim sleekness of the way this TV looked before I bought it, & the green light constantly on when TV is on kinda distracts that for me. The apps are very slow to load. Also - the VESA being 300 x 200 made it nearly impossible for me to find a wall mount extending bracket, unless I wanted to buy an expensive one exclusively on the Sony website. That bothered me. I wound up getting one that was close & drilling my own holes to make it work. (not in the TV, but into the bracket). The iManual is super handy & definitely an asset. Overall, Sony can never go wrong in my opinion, but a few things could have been better payed attention to. Visually, it is perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great value for price

This is a great tv for the money. The picture is very nice and the sound is just as nice. Netflix works smooth. still waiting on amazon.
The only negative id like to point out is about the possible wall mounting with a personal wall mount. this has a terrible design for mounting. The extra hdmi ports which are fairly enclosed and the component inputs are between the mounting screws which are all at the bottom portion of the tv. Most vesa plates will block all this or atleast make it a hassle to access. Flat mounts are also a hassle for the same reason.
This is still only a minor issue to me and definitely recommend.

Several channels no very clear, Having issues with remote, I have only bought sony products for years . , This Tv not up to Sony quality . Sound no very good..

What a PICTURE!!!!

Bravia, by far, has the best picture ever. The size is perfect for our masterbedroom. The only problem was the mounting screws for the desk stand were not the correct size. A call to Sony customer service was not helpful at all. I went to the hardware store and bought the size that the scanty instruction sheet said. Problem solved. However, we did receive two more calls from Sony the next several days trying to help. A friend was looking for a bedroom television. He saw mine and bought one just like it. This is the second Sony Bravia we own. When we need another - another Bravia.

Good TV

Great tv great price some motion blur wish it was like 120 or 240hz. sony and other manufacturers like to not state the true refresh rate. this tv says "Motionflow™ Technology : Motionflow XR 240" which is probably only 60hz therefore there is some motion blurring
