Not so SmartTV

The basic tv functions are great and all the HDMI ports are a big plus. However the "Smart" aspect of the tv is debatable. Every time I unplug my media server to add more content and reconnect it the media server repeatedly displays an error message, and will randomly restart some time later, usually days later.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great replacement for my old 36" non working Sony

Had a 36" Sony Tube TV that was many years old that no loner worked, This LED is such a great replacement, the picture is outstanding and it is so lite compared to the old TV which was almost 500 lbs.

Remote is sluggish when tv first turned on

Great features and plenty of HDMI ports, but the Netflix button on the remote does not always work and sometimes boots you out of the movie you select. When you first turn on the tv, the remote is not very responsive for about 20 seconds. If you use an antenna on this tv, you have to punch in the channel plus the number after the decimal point to get to a channel. Otherwise you get static on the tv and have to use the up channel button to get to a specific channel. .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

could be better

Pros- picture, sound, easy to use menu, variety of apps
Cons- no option to connect wireless or wired keyboard/mouse,
white noise when switching between modes
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not worth the money

Tv is less than a yr old and already having red light issues, just turns off. If I can get it to come back on it shuts off within 15-20 min, it has a red flashing light that flashes 6 times. Noone can say what 6x means just give you troubleshooting steps that dont work. I did all the troubleshoot steps including the built in diagnostics which says nothings wrong CLEARLY SOMETHING IS WRONG it keeps turning itself off and flashing....

I am very pleased with my purchase of this LED TV. I only buy Sony TV's cause of quality!! Sony has excellent quality when manufacturing their televisions and also components, the resolution is amazing for an LED 1080p screen the colors are highly vivid. The sound is great the speakers do get loud and clear. The software is excellent it gets a pretty good description on each setting. Theirs to many features to explain that will continue endlessly. Also this TV is made for video games, the picture and color works and looks good for the PS3 era. But this is great for the PS4 too. There's no screen lag from the console or audio. Just set the screen to Video game setting and your good to go.
Over this is an amazing TV. I highly recommend SONY to people who knows the in's and out's of audio and picture. SONY tv's is a brand for advance users who wants to control everything and I mean everything from the picture setting to hook up connections and other settings that Samsung and some LG TVs don't provide. If you are looking for a easy set up or plug in play television try Samsung and etc. But! If you are a advance user then SONY is the way to go.

Great TV

I've had this TV for 3 months now. The picture quality is excellent. I was originally a little concerned about the refresh rate because I game frequently. Usually put the TV in game mode. The motion processing that sony is using in their current models does an excellent job. It really does out perform samsung and LG in my opinion (comparing similar priced models). The black levels are darker than my panasonic plasma. The updated interfaced also looks nice. You really can't go wrong with this TV model for the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!
