Bought this to replace a very expensive and now obsolete 55" tv. Resolution brightness, clarity and color excellent. Very happy with price and product.

I did quite a bit of comparison shopping and review reading, and became convinced that this was my best option. So far, I have not been disappointed. This went up easily on the existing mount, used for a 48" Samsung whose picture had started going haywire. Nice and lightweight. Of course the sound could be better, but I knew going in not to expect much from this or any other TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

With four generations of family having resided in this home over the past 15 years, every person has had his or her own favorite TV Brand. Mine is, and always has been Sony, and everybody else in the house wished they had done the research I had done. And they all ended up doing so as they moved on to the next chapters in their lives.

Great price incredible picture.

My Sony came today if anyone is thinking about purchasing
this size tv I don't believe you can do better. I have not yet
begun tweeking the picture ,but it looks dramatically better than my
old 42'' model. The Netflix app was easy to use ran for 8 hours
with only one pause and loaded instantly.
The picture gives incredible detail on the close
ups while still providing sharp clarity in the background.

Awesome TV for the price!

I've bought this TV to replace an older Bravia that I've been using for the last several years. Picture quality was amazing and I love having the Smart TV features. All my other Sony devices (PS3, PS4, Bluray Player and A/V Receiver) works great with this TV thanks to the Bravia Sync feature. The only downside so far is the wifi connection can get a little laggy sometimes when navigating through all the apps.
So far everything's good and I'm enjoying my new Sony Bravia W600.

....I have been shopped fr months now for the TV that will replace my old Sony 42". This is the one I settled on and no regrets. Fantastic picture compared to Samsung and LG. No blotchie skin or colour wash out...blacks are BLACK. This new model came in at a great price as well. The biggest con I can think of is...I can't stop watch TV.

disapointing service and help

i purchased a sony 47.6 kdl48w600b tv which was delivered on 5.13.14.
i also purchased a 3 year protection plus service plan although i did not
expect anything to go wrong as i have had good luck with sony products
since my first color tv in 1972. after 3 months use the tv developed a fault
in the screen,there is a red dot and a line of pixels showing all the way
across the screen.i have called and emailed and been in touch with sony support but have had no satisfaction.apart from this problem i am
very pleased with the tv. please reply and try to help me with this thanks
