Been a great dryer

This has been a great dryer. It has many features that are really useful and takes a large load. My only issue with it was the dryer element quitting after two years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Basic Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in a sale. It works great and has severa good features I did not have on my LG - the ability to spin without washing, quick cycle. The door is difficult to close sometimes

Must buy a new pedestal

This dryer is not compatible with my old Samsung Pedestal. If you buy this dryer you must purchase a new style pedestal. Stupid new design feature

filter almost a deal breaker

The dryer is a good quality appliance that does a great job of drying clothes.
The filter is a pain as it is hard to get in and out and opening it requires a little help from a screw driver. Furthermore, if you reach down into the area under the filter to clean there the trapdoor snaps your fingers so you definitely need two hands - one to clean underneath and one to hold down the hinged door.
The filter is almost a deal breaker, annoying and cumbersome.
Because the dryer does the job so well and has so many good options I gave this 4 stars. The filter just gets 1.

Piece of junk

At first this was a great dryer and loved it. As time went on though our clothes took longer to dry even on a light load. Now two weeks ago it's makes a horrible grinding noise likes it's going to blow up! Which is scary because we actually bought this set to replace the recalled set that could have possible caught fire and seeing how we already had a house fire in our life we didn't want to risk it. (So this set is only 2 years old) We have kept our appliances clean and the lint compartment always free of build up. I'm pretty sure the barrings are going out which is what happened to our very first Samsung dryer after owning it a month but I thought it was a fluke. This is our third Samsung set in 10 years!!! Never again will I buy a Samsung washer or dryer. We really loved our Samsung refrigerator and its durability so we had high hopes for the washer and dryer. The features of the appliances attracted me and their sleek look but pass on these and go with a Maytag or LG. IM LEAVING THIS REVIEW ON EVERY SITE THAT SELLS THESE PIECES OF JUNK!! My parents have had their Maytag set for 20 years with no issues!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointing

This is the worst appliance ever. Bed linens get rolled into a tight ball, leaving the center wet while the outside is dry. No amount of rearranging or use of “dryer balls” makes a difference. This never happened with my old Maytag.

I bought this dryer about 4 years ago and have had to buy replacement parts every single year. Don’t think I would use Samsung for dryer again.
