Cracked drum now

Nothing but repairs. We have had to repair this three times now and the most recent is a cracked drum which tore a brand new blanket we just spent $200 on. Also, cracked drums are a common complaint and they have not done anything to help their customers or recalled these dryers which cracking can cause fires.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Samsung says 14 year life on dryers......NOT My dryer is 5 years old and the plastic piece of crap drum cracked into pieces. Now I have an 8 inch hole in the dryer. 14 years???????? Horrible product

Bad Heating Element Design

I've replaced 4 heating elements on this stupid dryer and now I'm about to do a 5th. We've had our vents cleaned and clean the lint trap with every load.

Better options out there

Purchased this dryer about 6 years ago, have had to have derived 3 times during that time frame. 1 Motor, 1 Set of Drum Rollers and 1 Heating Element. Now on to our 4th service call which appears to be another Heating Element. Could have purchased other Brand Twice over after all service calls.

Constant problems with both this model dryer and the washing machine. Both machines are less than 4 years old and have already required more than 50% of their original cost to repair/maintain. Will never buy Samsung appliances again!
