Don’t Buy

we have had this machine for just over 2 yrs. it now spins super fast, even when the spin is set to low. the rpms get so high it’s scary and it sounds like a jet taking off. should last longer!

washer stop working within two years. keep doing rinse and spin cycle forever. it's a very common problem for samsung washer. i have seen many posts with the same problem. never over load and use it twice a week, can't believe it dies so fast.

Had issues with washer and matching dryer

the reviews speak for themselves. samsung does not make reliable appliances. i purchased this washer & matching dryer as a set less than 4 years ago. dryer began leaking gas after 2mos while we had a newborn at home - ended up being replaced after replacing 2 parts. now the motor on the washer has stopped working, i am not in the same situation as the dryer, waiting on a replacement part. very disappointing that samsung doesn't offer any compensation for such a poorly made machine. this will only continue to hurt their reputation as this is not isolated to laundry appliances, i have read about numerous issues with refrigerators and dish washers as well. do not buy this washer or any samsung appliance for that matter but definitely not this washer or matchign dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Quality Material

the seal around the drum broke for my washing machine as it seems to be made of poor quality plastic and now water is leaking from the bottom.

Can't Complain About the Price!

We inherited this washer from my Mom when she moved. The washer was barely 2 years old then. Now we have used it almost 6 years. It stated leaking right after we got it. It only leaks in the beginning. We don't like it when I can only have a delayed start but can't have it finished in certain time which was our old GE washer's feature. It cleans ok.

You can set the washing machine to start your wash automatically at a later time, choosing a delay time. The hour displayed indicates the time at which the wash will be ended. Any cycle can be delayed for up to 24 hours in one-hour increments.

You may refer to page 23 of the user manual for more information about the Delay End feature and page 34 for other solutions when the water leaks.

I can’t say enough bad things about this washer and dryer. Bought new 7 years ago. Had both serviced multiple times within first 4 years. I will never buy another Samsung ANYTHING. Dryer has died. Washer is leaking from the door area onto my hardwood AGAIN- already had this fixed once. Buying a different brand. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY
