We were looking for a stackable washer and dryer set and we came across this set for a fantastic price. It included all the features we were looking for and even above what we wanted. The steam feature has already made this worth the purchase.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Inexpensive

Received in perfect condition from the delivery guys.
This is a replacement for my 15 yo Kenmore Elite HE3 front load dryer. Easy to use and dried my clothes much faster and with less wrinkles than my Kenmore.
Haven't used the steam feature yet but if it works as well as the rest it should be great.

Fire Hazard

A few weeks ago, my dryer went out. I haven't had time to take a look at it because I've been working so much. Today, I finally took a day off to make what I thought was going to be the necessary repair, replace the belt. As an avionics technician, one thing I've learned is to put the "belt" back on before replacing it. To my surprise, it was on tight; however, I could hear a crackling sound on the dryer's idler assembly (DC97-07509B). I removed the blower assembly from the rear of the dryer to get a better look, only to discover that the idler assembly was melting and causing the belt slip off of it.
Luckily I decided to take a closer inspection and not assume that the dryer was ready to run. This hazard is a fire waiting to happen. I managed to find the part on a few sites. They all show a metal ring inserted in the middle of the assembly now. I recommend anyone with this product to inspect their unit to make sure there is a metal ring on the assembly.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, fire hazard
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought our dryer with the pedestal and we love all the features the dryer has, especially the steam for Sanitizing and Wrinkle Removal.

This is my first of this type of dryer. I had no difficulty understanding how to use it. I have owned it now for one year and have never had lower utilities
