I bought this six months ago. So far it hasn’t givoany issues. I wish I would of bought the pedestal cause with out it, you back will feel it.

HATE BOTH WASHER AND DRYER!!!

. First time buying Samsung. Washer does not clean thoroughly. The dryer is too high when stacked to see settings on low- settings dial is tilted Dewrinkle cycle soaks clothes and then takes 20+minutes to end and clothes are damp but still wrinkled. Both have annoyinng songs when ended. Best advice is do not buy.

Inferior Design

Never buy a Samsung washer. There is a class action lawsuit on some top load washers which have been alleged to explode and they have been recalled and there should be one on corrosion of the spider assembly used in front load washers. See youtube for examples of all of these. Our front load washer was less than 2 years old and the circuit board failed and the spider support bracket corroded and broke. According to several local repair techs, they all told me the same thing: don't buy Samsung and buy Whirlpool. Samsung's one year warranty is standard but and they have no sympathy for any failures after that. May be a clever marketing approach to sell more machines but when you spend nearly $2000 for a washer and dryer and incompatible pedestals you expect better quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed in quality

We've had the washer/dryer set for only about 3 years. We noticed the washer started leaking not long after the 2 yr warranty had expired (of course) and it appeared to have been doing it for a while. Wasn't a lot, though, so we just put a towel down when doing laundry. Washer does get smelly, though, despite cleaning and leaving it open. It seemed to do an okay job on washing though, but not spectacular. About two weeks, the dryer stopped working and the cost to repair is so much that we've just decided to scrap the set and buy something that is NOT Samsung.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had this washer for over 2 years and it’s been great so far. Only have problem once but it has nothing to do with the washer or Samsung. The water filter in the back connected got all kind of dirt in it and for that reason the washer was acting all weird. Quick clean up solved the problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

drum banging against the side panels. technician said that it would be cheaper buy a new washer.
