Great Look and Durability

We replaced our 30+ year old GE Wall Oven to this model and the look and ease of use is just perfect for us. Decided to go with GE again because the first one lasted over 30 years.

Great options

The microwave offers many great options and heats the food evenly. I have had to make some adjustments to my cooking times and shelf positioning in the oven, as it seems to be much hotter than my previous, 40 year old, model.

This unit replaced a 23 y.o. GE unit, which worked well until the end when the microwave stopped. This unit is much sleeker looking and has many nice, but unnecessary, features. Wish you could replace only the microwave, but that would be too cost efficient! We look forward to many, many years of service with the new unit.

A little confusion

When our new oven was installed the installers left it in “demo” mode so the main oven worked but the microwave did not. The light worked and the table turned but no heating occurred. After reading through them manual several times we had to call back to have the installers return. They also were puzzled but finally found the answer on YouTube and voila everything’s working fine. We were concerned we might have put it in Sabbath mode which sounded like a fatal mistake in the manual
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall very satisfied with the wall oven/micro combo. Has a number of presets, makes it easy to pick and go. Touch controls, turn knob and softer chimes are certainly an upgrade compared to the old one.

Love this oven

Took four weeks for our black oven to arrive and the wait was very nearly worth it. The oven is beautiful; works amazingly; replaces our 24 year old GE and is a perfect fit (as advertised) in the hole - this was important since the man of this household did his own installation. But wait - he said "the wait was very nearly worth it"; what did he mean? Well the bottom trim piece delivered with this all black oven is stainless steel. We are currently in the third week of waiting for the proper trim piece to be delivered. Until then we'll just have to live with an oven that cooks WAY better than the old one. I did check heating performance with my infrared thermometer - assuming that my device is properly calibrated this oven is no worse than 0.10% cold on the rear wall at a rated 400 degrees.
