Complicated controls

1) Controls too complicated
2) Can only increment microwave time in 15 second increments instead of 1 sec
3) Difficult to reach into microwave because door swings down instead of to the right or left
4) Display too dim in bright sunlight

GOOD PRODUCT, BUT NOT AS GOOD AS EARLIER MODEL

WE REPLACED A COMBINATION WALL MICROWAVE/OVEN WITH THIS PRODUCT. IT FIT PERFECTLY. NEW MODEL USER INTERFACE IS NOT AS EASY TO USE AS OLD MODEL. EXAMPLE: TO RUN MICROWAVE FOR THREE MINUTES, ON OLD MODEL, I JUST PRESSED THE NUMBER 3 ON THE KEYBOARD. THE NEW MODEL DOES NOT HAVE A KEYBOARD; YOU HAVE TO PUSH A FEW BUTTONS AND TURN THE DIAL UNTIL IT READS 3 MINUTES. OLD MODEL HAD A LOUD BEEPER WHEN IT WAS DONE; NEW MODEL BEEPER ONLY MAKES A SMALL PEEP THAT YOU CAN HEAR ONLY IF YOU ARE STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE MICROWAVE - USELESS.

Great Choice for Replacing my Vintage Oven

With a vintage opening of 25", my options for my kitchen were limited. I thoroughly researched my options and am very pleased with my decision to purchase. The knob control in lieu of traditional numbers of the microwave does take some getting used to. Aesthetically and functionally this is a very nice oven/microwave combo.
My opening was 48" and with this unit being just over 41", I installed a piece of stainless steel (cut to match) below the unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Acceptable oven

We bought this product a few months ago. So far it seems to be okay although I think it takes a bit longer for the oven to get to the temperature I set. The settings operation is quite different than I was used to. Once you get used to the way it needs to be set, it shouldn't be a problem. I only worry that after a lot of use it doesn't break because it could be very difficult to get the technology of the operating system to work again. Overall, it isn't a bad oven.

Looks high end!!!

Replaced it with a 1984 GE combo ( original to house we bought in November). Very easy to use, love all the settings !!! Impressed with the defrost of meat , and cooking of veggies.Don't mind the pull down for the microwave as I thought I would. Very impressed overall!!!

Not loving it so far!

I have had this oven combo for about one month and so far not loving it :(
1 takes a long time to preheat
2 warm air pumps into room when it is on making the kitchen hot
3 lowest time on microwave is 30 seconds
I do like the size of the oven and microwave and it cooks well just wish I had researched it better.

Not a happy camper !

I was so excited to get my new wall oven installed. However, we have had problems with it. The worst was on Thanksgiving day when it quit needless to say the turkey was not fully cooked and browned like I would have wanted it to be. I have had GE appliances for years and was very happy with them, but this was discouraging !!!

I do not like the timer for microwave or setting of oven temp for baking. I thought it was a touch pad device and it is not. It is my fault for not checking this out. I just thought that today everything was touch pad. To set the temps and time, you have to turn a knob for choosing temps and then pushing it to set. It is no big deal--I just prefer touch pad. If I had known this I would have chosen another model.
