Everything works as expected. I have not yet tried the self cleaning feature, but the basic operation is fine. The controls are different that the prior generation but don’t take much time to get used to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

after my experience ,i've lost faith in g.e. products. we installed this oven 3 yrs. ago. about 1 month later the fan went bad;it was a hassle and took 3 wks before it was repaired. now at only 3yrs. old the oven is again non-functual! two differant repair services have not been able to solve the problem. at great expence, i have replaced all 3 circuit boards to no avail ! something wrong deep in the electronics. i'm at a loss,literaly. beware this product
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not a bad microwave/oven combination; however, the microwave does not have a series of settings (i.e. from 1 to 10) but rather I must pick from some manufacturer predetermined food selections that don't correspond to what I would like to use it for. I purchased it because it fit in the cabinet cutout not because it was an outstanding appliance. I think it was too expensive for what I got, but it did save me from remodeling my kitchen cabinets to fit a larger appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The new unit replaced a 35 year old GE Combo unit which helped with installation. My wife is very with the over all functionality of this model. Also, we really like the over all looks and styling of this unit. Also, the old GE unit worked great for 35 years!
