Lots of New Features

There are lots of new settings for the microwave, besides Popcorn & Defrost, that takes the guesswork out of "what setting / time increment" should I use.

Just got our wall microwave/oven unit installed. It's looks great in the Stainless Steel look and it fits in with our GE Profile refrigerator and Dish Washer. I love GE appliances.

Bakes great!!

Bakes bread, cookies, etc. very well! The oven size is a little larger than what we had. Cooling fan is quiet. Microwave is large, defrost setting is fine.

I love the stainless steel interior on microwave part! I love the door opens down and love how little sound it makes!! The bake oven is super nice! I love no heat element on oven floor! And this oven too is so quiet!

Performance less than expected

Controls require a lot of ‘steps’, but getting used to them. Incremental adjustment for seconds is too large. Long preheat time for oven is aggravating, need to allow 12-15 minutes! Disappointed that microwave oven wattage is only 1000 watts given its large capacity- much slower than my prior micro. These shortfalls prevent a high overall rating (details make a big difference in satisfaction).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
