We have only had our oven for a short period of time so I can not fairly review the oven functionality or reliability. The microwave is very good with good auto features.

We’ve just had it installed a day now and we think it’s going to be great. It’s a replacement for a 20 year old model, so we have a learning curve but we’re hoping to use it another 20 years—even though we’re in our 80’s.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wanted to like it

Originally bought this wall oven back in October and received it a few months later due to backlog. We like the oven but the microwave was incredibly loud and it was replaced under warranty. The replacement and its replacement were also replaced under warranty due to the same thing; loud microwave. Now the latest replacement also has a loud microwave. Once it warms up it starts getting loud; buzzes. It's a shame, since I really wanted to like this wall oven. Now it looks like I am stuck with a defective unit that has poor quality control. I'm sure I can replace this one under warranty but I don't have the time to keep having GE repair come and not be able to fix it. Then having to schedule delivery and installation of a replacement. It's unfortunate the space opening limits me to a GE. I don't have a deep enough opening to install a different manufactures wall oven.

Beautiful looking built in ovens.

The oven looks very nice. It takes a while to get used to the many buttons, so many different option to chose from.
The bottom oven takes a long time to get to temperature, but I'll get used to it. The light inside is nice and bright, so you can see how the cooking is coming along. The top microwave oven has that wonderful light also, so I can see if my oatmeal is close to boiling over. The timer buzzer sound is very low. When the cooking is done, the oven sound stays on, because "the oven is cooling". That cooling stays on for 3 minutes! even if one has just warmed up the coffee for 30 seconds. I think that is a waste of energy. By opening the door the "cooling" stops. In general I like the oven and would recommend it

There’s a lot to like about this microwave/oven. Non-marking stainless steel or it seems to us. Intuitive controls, located in one location. Really like the porcelain grills in the oven, which helps in cleaning. Maybe not the fanciest, but I like it that way as there will be less electronics to fail.
