Our GE combination microwave/oven was still working after 23 years. We replaced it with this one that fit exactly to update our kitchen with stainless steel.

We never thought we could find a one piece combo wall unit the exact same size as out 1987 but we did and it has even more room inside the oven and microwave. Very happy with this brand new unit

REPLACED OLDER UNIT OF A DIFFERENT BRAND

We do no like the fact that the Microwave door opens down. It is hard to lift things over the door. Our former appliance opened to the side. The oven takes about twice as long to heat up as our former unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Difficult features

Had to replace my microwave/oven combo after 30 years and had few choices available. This microwave door opens down like an oven door and since it's above the oven, it's very difficult to put items in and out of microwave and I cannot reach the back of the microwave to clean up any spills. Had to get the two step ladder in order to reach. Takes the oven 10-15 minutes to pre-heat, which is much longer than old one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
