Looks very good! I had the old model 27 inch for 20 years and if wanted repaired could last 20 more.

GE Double oven

We have used this oven for 6 months and it has performed well. There are a lot of features but it was relatively intuitive to figure how to use them. The over preheats quickly.

I love to cook in it . It has so many different ways to use it. The microwave is huge. I've never seen such a large microwave.

Replacing old GE microwave and oven combo

Just Got It

We bought this built-in oven/microwave to replace our GE unit when the microwave on the original 20-year old unit broke down. The new one fit the cabinet perfectly. I only gave the new one 4 stars because it's too soon to tell if it will be as dependable. So far it works beautifully and we like the size of the microwave--it's huge. Also, the oven looks like it will be easier to keep clean because there is no heating coil on the bottom.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Oven takes longer to reach set temperature

I like the unit. It just seems to take long (10-15 mins) for the oven unit to reach the set temperature (400F)
Another drawback is that the door edges are flush with the outside dimensions of the unit, which means that the microwave and oven door scraps against the wall corner every time we open or close them.

Everything we wanted

My wife and I searched for over a year looking for the right microwave/oven combo. We decided on this one because of the great looks, great reviews and functionality. The microwave and oven performs very well. We really enjoy the hidden burners in the oven; it makes for easy cleaning and looks better too. It bakes better than our old convection oven. We are overly pleased with our purchase and don't regret one moment of owning it. It was pricier than a few but much less expensive than others. We get compliments on it with almost every guest we have in our home. Thanks GE for another great product that we expect to own in our home for a very long time.
