HAPPY WITH THE APPLIANCES,BUT WISH THE CYCLE ALARM WAS LOUDER.CANNOT HEAR IT WHEN THE CYCLE IS FINISHED

The oven is very good and easy to clean. The microwave is not as good as our old GE. It would be helpful if the microwave door could open out rather than down. It's hard to reach in for short people.

Great fit to replace the old Dual Wave II

After several years the GE Dual wave II oven did not die. The microwave has been down for years. Could not find an easy replacement until now. Looks great and will see how it last.

Not intuitive, crazy display features

I had this installed yesterday. Came home excited about my new oven and micro. Totally confused as to how to use micro. Nothing intuitive about the features. Too many steps to go through to just heat water. Have to keep the manual close because it's just too time consuming to try to figure it all out. Would certainly look for a model easier to use.

Our choices are limited given our kitchen configuration and we wanted a combination oven/microwave, this GE product was a drop in replacement. We've had the unit as few months and so far so good. The only comment I have for improvement is it seems to take a while for the oven to get to temperature, but overall we are very happy with the appliance.

It seems that more "programmability" is the "selling point. I'd rather have a simpler version that I can set on my needs The "cooking program for various dishes are nothing I cook in this household or have ever really been involved with. The reheat features allow for nothing but dried out tasteless leftovers the result of over cooking.

The oven takes 20-25 min to heat. The self clean does a bad job

This was a replacement by american homeshield. Prior two were GE. Last one was put in less than 10 years ago. Only unit that would fit and met their price guidelines.
