I purchased this unit to replace my 10.5 year old GE combo. I really dislike GE appliances. They just don't seem to be built to last. With that said,
This new unit is functioning like it should. Unfortunately, without doing extensive renovations, it was only one that fit!

We love the main oven but we don't care for the microwave oven because of the too-quiet timer alert, the downward opening door and the blast of cooling air that comes out from the lower vents when the unit is running.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great replacement of older unit

The stainless steel unit fit exactly into existing cabinet area. We like how the microwave door opens and easy settings for all types of food.
