We looked at reviews for all the appliance options for our new house and went with this GE model for the oven/microwave combo that we wanted. We definitely chose it for superior reviews over our other options, plus desired functionality and appearance. Overall, we're happy with this, and it's working well. Just a couple of oddities: The dial control is a little funky compared to digital, which we're more used to in recent appliances; our previous microwave cooked 2 tbs. popcorn in about 2 minutes, this one is > 4 minutes. Popcorn setting doesn't even go that long. But those are minor things.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got this to replace a micro/oven unit conked out on me. I am so happy to finally have an oven that works again. So far all works great on it.

compare to our previous ge profile,which worked for 13 years;the current ge jt3800shss is superior in space and easier to operate with current key board. my neighbor has the same old unit as we had. it also fits the same wall space as old model; thus saving on installation cost
