No happy with it!

My od one died. I don't like this one as much. The oven takes at least 20 minutes to heat up. The timer is only good for microwave or oven. the controls are not user friendly. For instance you can microwave for 15 seconds, 30 seconds, one minute but nothing in between and it takes severl adjustments to get to start. Also, the finish make look nice but every time you touch it you leave a mark and have to wip it off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Controls are easy to use

The builder furnished the GE combination microwave and oven unit. We are vary happy with the overall quality and stainless steel finish. The controls are easy to use and the oven is higher off the floor than a standard range sitting on the floor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very pleased with this double unit. I was very happy to find combination unit that was a conventional oven and a standard microwave. Most combinations were convection ovens on the bottom and microwave/convection on top. Another feature I like is the microwave is a 1000 watts. It has a lot of options, but it is easy to navigate. The only issue i have is being able to reach the back wall of the microwave to clean it. I dont mind the door opening down, it’s just about an inch too deep for me. Also I dont see a pause mode on the microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good oven but GE screwed up the Help to save$!

Microwave and oven work well and the appearance is very nice. However, I would not buy this again, knowing what GE did to the Help function just to save a few dollars! Let me explain: instead of providing Help for only those functions and capabilities that my oven has, they chose to make a single help that includes the top model's functions and put a disclaimer when you select Help that effectively says "Your model may not have all the functions included in this help". Just a few examples are: Convection and Toast. I know there are several others but didn't write them down.
I only want to see Help for those things I can do with MY MODEL! This is the last GE appliance we'll be buying.

New oven micro combo

Product came to the house in great condition. Simple installation. Fired up microwave. The. Baked the new smell right out of oven. Very easy to use. It’s a beast!

I gave it one star because it is beautiful but the way it bakes.....no stars. The temperature is off! Everything bakes faster and hotter! It's impossible to time anything baking. I've had it 6 months and have had many disasters. I've been baking for over 50 years and this is the worst oven I've ever used.

Microwave noisy

The microwave sounds like a rattling piece of tin. The oven so far is works good but slow to pre-heat.
