We have been absolutely in love with this unit since we got it. This unit is packed with the features you need without all the fluff you don't. It cooks food perfectly, its the first microwave I've seen that actually has a 'reheat' function that works, and the oven works beautifully as well.
We have always loved GE appliances, and this further solidifies our beliefs. We live in a new construction home, and the builder chose to put a different appliance manufacturer in its homes. The unit they had in place never worked right, never cooked food thoroughly in the microwave, and was so buggy (had a touch screen interface).
You won't be disappointed by this model, I assure you!

Micro works fine but the oven heating is very uneven.

Good, but...

We were not sure how we would like this oven, but needed to replace our old one. Love the size, and the oven works perfectly. The microwave dial is not a good feature, and is very confusing. Too many steps to just heat up something for 30 seconds! Good grief! Who thought this feature was a step up from the regular touch pad? If it ain’t broke, don’t try to reinvent the wheel! Other than that we are happy with the unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Spills and drips are easy to clean up without a bottom heating element. Fewer controls equates to fewer buttons and knobs that may breakdown.

I had to get this upgrade when picking my options fit my home. So happy my builder uses GE appliances. The microwave isn’t an eye sore like the traditional one. And it has a lot of fun features. The oven works perfectly and quickly.
