Love the Oven, the Microwave Not So Much!

The oven has all the features I wanted, such as delay start, warm, self and steam clean. I love that the timer can be used along with and independent of the microwave and the oven, and the screen shows baking and timer status as well as time of day, all at once!
I do not like the microwave controls at all! The smallest increment of time that can be entered is 15 seconds, and only 15 second intervals can be entered. This is so impractical! Yes, you can edit the time after you start the cooking, but it's difficult to set an exact time. There are also way too many separate steps you have to take to actually start the cooking. And what is the purpose of the fan continuing after the cook time is completed? To cool the microwave? Really? Ridiculous! If you happen to miss the Off signal, which is a tiny little musical tone, you think the oven is still cooking! Had I known more about the microwave controls before purchasing this oven, I would not have chosen it.

A fan where the internal components are located will run continuously while the microwave is in operation to constantly circulate the air to cool the working parts. Also, it's normal for the internal fan for the electronics to continue to run for a few seconds after the microwave cycle is complete, even if the door is opened. We hope this helps! - Sharon@GEA

Love the microwave oven combo. Looking stunning

We have remodeled several homes and have used this microwave oven combo. One in Texas that was our home which we sold to retire to Maui and now remodeling of our current home in Maui. Love the look and convenience.

Didn’t even last a day before the oven no longer worked. Thankfully there is a 1 year warranty. The display doesn’t turn on so neither the oven nor microwave work. Currently in the process to get it fixed.

I love my GE wall oven! Not only is it sleek and beautiful. It is a dream come true for bakers! I love to bake cakes… rum cakes are my specialty! They come out perfect every time!
