Multiple failures in ice maker

I have owned the counter depth refrigerator for 1 year and 8 months. We have had the ice maker worked on MONTHLY since August 2016 a total of 5 service claims. The ice maker is still Having the same exact issue. We are awaiting the warranty center to resolve the issue. The last service repairman states the ice maker was "unrepairable"! NOT ACCEPTABLE.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS REFRIGERATOR AT ALL!!!

Fridge is a little over 3 years old just broke down on me for the 3rd time in 3 months. unit frezzes up then motor dies.

Ice Maker Breaks as soon as Warranty Ends

We enjoyed this refrigerator very much for the first year or so of owning it. It is attractive and the interior is versatile. However, after owning it for just over a year, the ice maker stopped working. It freezes over inside and then cannot make or release ice. For a while, we could fix it by resetting the ice maker... Which we began to have to do with increasing frequency - multiple times a week. A quick search online reveals that this is not an isolated problem. If you purchase this refrigerator, go ahead and start saving for the repairs you'll need in a year or so!

do not waste your money. the icemaker freezes up at least every other week. you'll tear your hands up trying to break the ice out so it will start "making ice" (all 3 pieces it produces) again.

Ice maker freezes up

the ice maker keep freezes up. i have to run the fast defrost every 7 days. also there is an offensive smell coming from the interior of the product. stay away from samsung product.

Worse Ice Maker

if you want a frig with the slowest ice maker known to man, this is your frig. it also freezes up all the time and when you hit the defrost function it continues to beep until it is done. 30-40 minutes of beeping and it takes at least 3 times to defrost it.
