Worst. Fridge. Ever.

i have had nothing but problems with this fridge, and no help from samsung. the fan ices up, starts mooing, and then quits. i've had it fixed twice, and it keeps happening. and the ice maker is awful. it has to be defrosted at least once a month, and it's very tedious. i gave up on it. no more samsung appliances for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Expensive piece of junk!

My husband and I have had this since 10/2015. We have been having problems with the unit not defrosting. We did not purchase the extended warranty, because to do so would basically be like buying this very expensive appliance TWICE! This is basically a disposable appliance.
After we started having problems, we did some searching on the internet. We are not the only ones having this problem (right after the initial warranty expires).
I have a Samsung phone, TV and BluRay player which are all great! Samsung just needs to get real and get out of the appliance business. I will NEVER, EVER buy a Samsung refrigerator again, and will tell everyone I know not to, either.
Pros: looks nice
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, not functional, not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Blend of Features, Design and Performance

This refrigerator is part of a kitchen update in July. Looks good with other Samsung appliances--dishwasher, microwave, and range. Very spacious for Counter Depth unit. Pantry and Veggie drawers nice features. Water and Ice dispensers work well.
Only complaint is that small pieces of the protective plastic is hard to remove around the handles and the control panel. Installers said this will just eventually come free.

This is the noisiest refrigerator I have ever heard. Sometimes it hums like a normal refrigerator and sometimes it sounds like a marble is clattering around in the compressor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product has great features

The refrigerator is very roomy inside. I love the fact you can list a shelf to accommodate for tall items. It has a very large tray for deli meats. The water and ice dispenser is great. I can either have cube or crush ice.
Pros: Bright display, Durable

Only had a week and already really like the style and features ie: lighting, display panel, water filter placement, and its quiet. Still arranging for best usage but so far every thing is very convenient. Also my in-laws just bought one of similar design and size

"A Beautifully Engineered product"

I spent a lot of time reviewing the pros/cons of the different refrigerators available,because I'm a super critical individual,that always expects a Quality product. Sometimes I have picked wrong, but not this time,because this Samsung fridge is a well designed and solidly built product. When you open the Doors/ Drawers everything operates smoothly and while some reviews commented on noise, I can attest that this refrigerators operation is whisper quiet. In fact,The only time I can tell it's operating is when the occasional ice cubes drop, which I consider normal. We have received many compliments on the design/style ,especially when you swing open the doors. We purchased the Counter depth model ,due to having a smaller kitchen, and was informed that it was more expensive than the regular size model,which I don't understand , But it was worth the money..Next up, is the purchase of the matching Smooth- top, convection oven.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, quality/design, quiet operation, counter depth size
Cons: counter depth model is more expensive

Very nice refrigerator

Overall I'm pretty happy with this refrigerator, everything is easily accessible and the lighting is very bright. I like the large center drawer for those hard to fit items and it does seem to keep meats fresher longer when set to deli. My only quibble is the lack of organization in the freezer. It needs some sort of bin to divide up each of the 2 large areas in the bottom of the freezer where everything gets piled.
