don’t buy one of this. this fridge is pretty new and it has been taken care off real good in a clean kitchen. it is a piece of junk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ice machine ceases all the time because of ice build up and defrosting inside the ice maker. and water sprays everywhere when you remove the water filter to replace it.

Ice maker freezes up

the ice maker keep freezes up. i have to run the fast defrost every 7 days. also there is an offensive smell coming from the interior of the product. stay away from samsung product.

Worse Ice Maker

if you want a frig with the slowest ice maker known to man, this is your frig. it also freezes up all the time and when you hit the defrost function it continues to beep until it is done. 30-40 minutes of beeping and it takes at least 3 times to defrost it.

Worst. Fridge. Ever.

i have had nothing but problems with this fridge, and no help from samsung. the fan ices up, starts mooing, and then quits. i've had it fixed twice, and it keeps happening. and the ice maker is awful. it has to be defrosted at least once a month, and it's very tedious. i gave up on it. no more samsung appliances for me.

Expensive piece of junk!

My husband and I have had this since 10/2015. We have been having problems with the unit not defrosting. We did not purchase the extended warranty, because to do so would basically be like buying this very expensive appliance TWICE! This is basically a disposable appliance.
After we started having problems, we did some searching on the internet. We are not the only ones having this problem (right after the initial warranty expires).
I have a Samsung phone, TV and BluRay player which are all great! Samsung just needs to get real and get out of the appliance business. I will NEVER, EVER buy a Samsung refrigerator again, and will tell everyone I know not to, either.
Pros: looks nice
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, not functional, not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product with a few minor design features..

This refrigerator looks and performs great, has some great features and keeps food very fresh.
The only negative comments I have are that it's impossible to get the fruit & vegetables drawers out of the frig without removing the doors and the ice bin which lacks a release lever was not easy to remove. Other than those minor glitches it's a great product and we are very happy with so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Blend of Features, Design and Performance

This refrigerator is part of a kitchen update in July. Looks good with other Samsung appliances--dishwasher, microwave, and range. Very spacious for Counter Depth unit. Pantry and Veggie drawers nice features. Water and Ice dispensers work well.
Only complaint is that small pieces of the protective plastic is hard to remove around the handles and the control panel. Installers said this will just eventually come free.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display
I would recommend this to a friend!
