Very Good Blu Ray Player

I have had this player for almost a year and the upscaling works very well with my 4k tv. Unlike other players that I have owned, you cannot hear this one when playing a Blu Ray. When using the wifi streaming apps the interface is cumbersome. Overall I would purchase this product again.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

This Blu-ray player has everything you would want. Excellent quality, great design, and apps that work great. I owned a Sony model previously, and now that I have this Samsung, I am delighted. The picture quality is even better, even without the UHD upscaling. I love how it fits with my other components like a glove, and that it has a clear display on the front of the unit. You won't be disappointed!

Sharper picture & more features than the 2008 model it replaced

SHARPER PICTURE, MORE FEATURES
I highly recommend the Samsung BD-J-7500 Blu Ray Disc Player. I love it unreservedly.
My primary reason to replace my 2008 unit was to take advantage of the Samsung "Smart Hub", for easy access to apps, because my old player only got Netflix, and was no longer supported for YouTube or Pandora.
The bonus in upgrading was:
SHARP: the BDJ7500 looks at least twice as sharp as my 2008 Samsung BDP3600 1080p Blu Ray for both ordinary discs and for Netflix. I have not tried a Blu Ray disc yet.
FAST NETFLIX: Netflix works much more smoothly on the BDJ7500. WAY faster access and operation, plus sharpness that looks at least double.
APP: Lots of them. More than anybody would ever need.
I paired this with my 2008 Plasma SamsungTV series 6/650 50", model PN50 B650 S-1FXZA. I bought it to replace my still-working and much loved Samsung BD-P3600 1080p Blu Ray.
I feel as though I have a brand new TV, because the sharpness is so enhanced when playing ordinary DVDs and Netflix. I look forward to exploring other options for entertainment, particularly YouTube and Amazon.
EASY SETUP: I am not a technogeek. I am a 64 year old woman. As soon as my BDJ7500 arrived, I opened the box, put the batteries in the remote, pulled the TV from the wall, unplugged the HDMI from my old Samsung and plugged it in the identical port on the new, then I unplugged the Ethernet and plugged in the ethernet. Plugged in the power, and it turned the TV on for me with easy instructions on getting started. Time elapsed: 10-15 minutes, and the hardest part was getting down on my hands and knees to access the bottom shelf of the cart that holds my Disc Player. There are some optional audio setups which may take a few minutes longer, but I get my sound through my TV and so it was super simple.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, sharper image than my 2008 samsung blu ray, easy to install, easy to operate, intuitive operation, sharper image with regular dvd, sharper image with netflix

Not Wasted The Money!

Great sound and the blu-ray images are spectacular on my lager hdtv flat screen. Surround sound also great if watching regular tv shows or sports. I have been wanting a new blue-ray player for a while now, and this one had everything I needed in it. Thanks Samsung!

I really love this BD-J7500 Blu-ray Player. The quality is excellent, the size is just right, very light weight and it has a multitude of features. Did I mention I love this player? Because it has so many features, it takes a little practice to get used to. But once mastered you too will love it. A great addition to my large screen TV.

I bought this DVD player for the different formats it plays and for streaming Drama Fever.
Some movie programs on Drama Fever are unavailable on this player.
I have no problem with my other streaming media players.
The manual should provide more information on the basic settings.
I almost returned this player because of the Drama Fever problem and also because
I could not reproduce the DTS sound until I found the information on the web site.
