I bought this in 2019 and now, only 3years later, I have to replace it. And the vent is worthless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good microwave for big items!

I really like the microwave for lots of reasons. I bought it for cooking meat, because I wanted something quiet, and because I'd bought a previous LG dishwasher, and liked the quality. My disappointment is that I didn't look closely at the buttons. There's a reheat button, but it's not intuitive, so you have to push additional buttons. I've worked around that. I don't use the popcorn feature at all, so that's a wasted button. I wish the light button was at the bottom, but I'm learning to know where it is. I also thought it would be quieter, but it's somewhat noisier than I expected. It's also dark inside the oven (the light is somewhat dim). The fan works great. I also thought it was self-cleaning, but it is not, it's just made with material that is very easy to clean. (I assumed it was more like a self-cleaning oven, but that was wrong). I like the energy-saving feature. It is basically a button that you press to turn off the lighted area (so you don't see the clock time). I haven't had it very long (a month), but so far, it seems to work fine. It's also very roomy! I could probably fit a small turkey inside!

Nice and Quiet

This is a very nice microwave. Our old one was so noisy you could not hear anyone speak while running. I love all the features and it heats things just as it is described. The only complaint I have is when using the light, the interior plate gets hot. I doubt that this is normal but that is the only complaint.

What's not to like!

This is a really great microwave. Our microwave is used mostly for heating and re-heating and this one does it faster and hotter than our previous one. Love the soften function. Makes softening butter quick and easy. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and would certainly buy again.

Sleek appearance, vent fan is much quieter than the one it replaced. Only con is there are no "express cook" buttons.

Wont work next to wall

Replaced a 15 year old 30" microwave with this one. After spending all afternoon installing the new one. One it was installed the door would not open. No where in any installation instructions or litrature does it mention that you need more than 30 inches to install it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
