I spent a few hours researching comparable products online, and the LG seemed to be the best value and quality. I had no prior personal experience with LG, but everything I had heard in the past and was seeing currently was very positive. I have been very pleasantly surprised at the improvements made over the last 12 years. The sensor cook is very versatile and accurate. I like the butter soften/melt button. The new black stainless steel has a good rich look. All in all, I am kind of glad the old one went out.

Has a nice 4 speed fan for the range. I like the controls and it is simple to use. I am tall so I can see the coffee cup go round and round. My wife is shorter so she can't see it. There are some cold spots at least when you cook bacan. Nice match for our new LG refrigerator too. Door latches are plastic hope they last. No sound to remind you that you left something in the microwave. Clock is easy to set. I like the 10 year warantee on the magnetron. Hope it lasts a long time. Best unit out there at least for us at reasonable price. I recommend it!
