If the door does not get shut fairly hard then the com timer counts downbut oven does not run. This has been happening since out was new and I cannot found an adjustment for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though the microwave works very well, there is one feature that, if I had known about, would have prevented me from buying it. The window has a 4 inch black/dark strip across the bottom. This prevents one from seeing inside the microwave when it is on. I need to stand on a step stool to look at something as it is cooking. I am 5'6" and this microwave replaced one that was in the same exact location and it was not a problem with my previous microwave. It's almost like the window is upside down, as a 4 inch dark area at the top would at least allow you to see the item without standing on a stool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With that said, it is as easy as can be to use functions that were not on any earlier model microwave's I have purchased. Whether you are defrosting that roast you forgot to get out of the freezer or reheating leftovers, this microwave is easy to use and easy to clean.
