We are very disappointed with this product. The keypad intermittently stops working, so even thought the time is ticking down, it's clearly not connecting with the heating mechanism. We had it serviced once within the first year and the problem returned a few months later.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One thing I do not like is, because the bottom half is tinted I have a hard time seeing my food. I could see into my old microwave. Also the buttons seem harder to push but this could be that I'm used to the old one.

It is extremely easy to clean. My husband is very happy with the popcorn feature as the bags fully pop.
