[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this microwave as a replacement after doing some research online and through consumer reports. We have used this microwave many times since the installation, mainly for reheating various types of left overs. As of this review, it has heated our foods evenly and is easy to operate. The vent works well, the install instructions can be a bit confusing, highly recommend reviewing install videos. Would be nice if LG covered specific model how to topics, such as how to flip the blower if you want to vent in room, at a minimum browse the instructions thoroughly before install if you never have installed a microwave before. We chose the over the stove because we live in a small condo and wanted to maximize counter space.

This microwave has so many features, we are still learning something new about it daily.

broke after 2 years.. service complicated for warr

It broke after 2 years of use. It was difficult to find the service center that fixed it. It was the megnatron issue which had a 10 year warrenty and the repair center said it takes 2 weeks to get reimbursed for the parts (89 dollars) but the labor charge itself was 300 dollars. At the end the warranty wasn't even covered cuz the part was not claimed prior to fixing it. just surprised of how easy it broke down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Grille at top of microwave is flimsy and breaks easily. Be careful when you wipe it down
