Bought this microwave due to the recommendation on how great LG appliances are. I have had this for about a month now. The performance is great, powerful and quiet. Love the exhaust fan speed options. Very easy to clean interior. Nice cooking options.
The one negative I have is that you cannot see the food while it is cooking, they have designed the glass to be so dark that you cannot see inside while in operation. The pictures are deceiving as they show the interior of the microwave to be white, but it is a dark gray. That adds to the inability to see inside while using. There has been several times that food has boiled over due to the fact you cannot see it while cooking.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use

great preprogrammed settings

This unit is very quiet. The preprogrammed settings for reheat and defrost work well. My favorite program is for melting and softening. No more puddles of butter on the turntable. It is very easy to clean. I am very satisfied with this product and will definitely consider another LG appliance in the future.

could be more user friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in July 2017 had good reviews. I found that the touch pad requires a lot of pressure to respond. I also don't like that I can not just push the 1 or any other number and just have microwave start -requires the number than two 0's to be entered and then the start button. I did not think that the clock not staying visible would be a problem upon buying the unit, however I do find that I miss not seeing time on display. (how much energy can that really save anyway?)

Very disappointed with touch pad

Touch pad is very hard to operate. You have to push buttons multiple times to get them to work. My wife absolutely hates it.

Hard to see inside!

Great microwave but window is too small
