[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned this microwave oven for two weeks. It works well and has easy to use controls. Both my wife and I are rather short. The lower half of the door window is blocked by a black area making seeing what is going on in the oven impossible for shorter people.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with this over the range microwave. The controls are easy to understand and operate and in general is it very quiet. A couple extra positives. 1) If you are careful and slow you can open and close the door relatively quietly, this is a pet peeve of ours when it comes to microwaves with loud doors. 2) The exhaust fan when vented outside is excellent, on turbo setting it does a great job venting heat from the LG gas oven underneath it. You can really feel that the heat is venting outside and not escaping into the kitchen.
I only have two complaints. 1) It is very hard to see into compared to our past microwaves. The door is dark glass and the masking around the door is larger than other microwaves, and given it's position above the stove unless you are around 5'10" or taller you really can't see into it while it is operating. 2) It is hard to keep the front clean and free of fingerprints on the control panel. It cleans easily, but then the fingerprints are right back as soon as you use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had it installed about a month now. It looks good, the fan works WAAAAY better than our last one. I like that I can set the minutes for the fan to run and not have to think about it later, it just turns off. The rack is annoyingly in the way, so it lives in the cupboard unless we need it. I have to say, there are so many options and instructions in the manual that I haven't yet read them all, which is very uncommon for me, but the time/features sticker right inside the door help us know how to do everything. We are very happy with it.
