[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty nice unit by comparison to my old Whirlpool microwave. Same wattage, but for some reason it cooks faster. It has a light touch control pad which works quite well without excessive force. I imagine that the buttons will wear well as a result. The multi-speed exhaust fan is a delight. The lower speeds are pleasantly quiet, and the high speed does a pretty good job of controlling a large amount of boiling liquids from the stove. The finish appears easy to clean, and looks nice. Pretty happy with this one.

Our son uses it quite often, and he has a tendency to close the door sharply. It has taken nearly a year of that, without compliant - no changes to the way the door closes, or the sound it makes. Add to that, it always performs exactly as we expect (based on how our previous microwave worked with the max power level, for certain foods), and couldn't be more pleased!
It's been the perfect replacement and we expect to have it for years to come!

However I will have to review its manual as there is no light on inside the microwave while being used. While cooking some things like oatmeal the directions say watch while cooking and stop when it begins to bubble. This also applies to popcorn. You cannot see inside microwave while cooking.
