We are not sure if we have a lemon or this unit is quirky. It caught on fire once inside an the keypad had a short. Strange. This could just be an anomaly. The service folks we rate as 5 stars. We don't trust this product right now. If it fails again no more lg microwaves for us.

Not happy with my microwave

I bought this microwave in July 2019 as part of a 4-piece appliance bundle. And I was very happy with the purchase. But the following year, just a few months after the warranty expired of course, the microwave stopped working. LG came out and fixed it for free as a one time courteous and I was very happy. Here I am exactly a year later and the microwave died again. I have no idea what it will cost me to have it fixed and I’m so disgusted. I plan to just purchase a totally new and different model microwave because I don’t want to put more money into this one and have it stopped working again. I’m very upset because it was not a cheap microwave!
