Even after being installed correctly to vent outside it still through grease onto cabinets above. Very disappointed with LG appliances.

Spontaneously stopped working after life test

I moved in 3 months ago, prior owner purchased this microwave in 2014. I initially loved it, the sensor cooking functions were useful. However about a week ago it started doing a life test spontaneously and never heated up again after that. Troubleshooting got me nowhere and it is out of warranty so a repair would cost more than a replace. It felt like there was some internal time bomb for it to explode after ten years so I'm replacing but very annoyed
