[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although this works mechanically, there are no spacers for the sides that will fit the space—I can’t find new ones to match up with the stainless steel oven NOTHING FITS! How can you help me? NO ONE ELSE CAN! If you could help me find the right pieces, it would help. I CANNOT!

Love Microwave Features-Purchased same failed unit

Purchased the same unit in 2019 - failed in 2022. The magnetron failed - noise and no heating. 2 years on parts and service and 10 years on magnetron back in 2019. Service was expensive - so went for new unit. Researched - reviews old and new still very good. So purchased again. Same bracket, same screw holes on top. Quick replacement. 2022 unit is now 1 years parts and service. Still 10 years on magnetron. Obviously love the unit to purchase twice - features, look - control across the bottom - easier for all to reach.
Pros: Style/Design
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My purchase of this particular model was a great choice in replacing my last 12 yr. old LG. I stayed with LG because of the longevity of my previous model and the excellent price on the new one. I also chose stainless steel over black this time and am very pleased. Cleans up very nicely. My only issue was it would make a rubbing sound when I used it. After checking various possible reasons, discovered it was the carousel plate. I replaced it with the plate from my previous model (about an inch smaller) and voila! problem solved!! So LG, replace this plate with a smaller version and no more issues.

So Far, So Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The incentive to write this review was to be entered in an LG contest. I bought this microwave in May 2022 as a replacement for an eight year old LG microwave that broke (the Extendavent broke and it would stop heating food). We have all LG appliances, so I just decided to roll the dice and get another LG microwave. The older LG microwave had an Extendavent. I would advise not to buy the Extendavent model because it will eventually break. So far, so good with this model. However, the current item description states that the exterior lighting is a 50W LED and the interior lighting is 30W incandescent. That information is incorrect unless the model has been recently updated. The same model we bought came with a halogen bulb for the exterior lighting, which was disappointing. The interior bulb was a 30W appliance bulb. The QuietPower Ventilation System is not quiet, but it is strong. Honestly, I would not expect a strong ventilation system to be quiet. The touchpad is easy to use and it cooks and heats as expected.

The light underneath is too dim. I get inconsistent warming of the food. The interior is too dim, and the window on the door is so dark and small that you can't see what's inside. I was expecting a lot more from LG.
