Not worth it

2 1/2 years old in a 2 person home so it wasn't over used and its dead very disappointed

Great UNTIL keypad died less than 2 years old

I expect more from an LG product. I have solar panels, TVs, kitchen appliances, etc. All have aged well so far, but this microwave has not. Unfortunately, the warranty is only 1 year, and it costs so much to repair these that I probably just have to buy something else. .
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Owned less than 2 years. One day just would not turn on and repair company stated it was not repairable. Even though we use this microwave every day, as two middle aged women, we always used the microwave normally. I would not recommend this unit

This thing is so cool! It has a setting to cook a baked potato and it knows when to shut off when the potato is done! It has internal tempurature and humidity sensors so whether you are cooking 1 potato or 3, big or small, it knows when to shut off and the baked potato is perfect! Same with microwave popcorn. It knows when to stop. I really like the hard surface touch screen. It's like the touchscreen on an iPad instead of mushy buttons that flex. The turntable and suspeded shelf allow you to reheat two plates of food at once. The interior has an easy clean dark gray surface. It has a button to just add 30 seconds to whatever is cooking. Awesome
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance

Bought this thing 3 years ago.... it has been fixed twice. Now it needs to be fixed again. Two times it was a door switch. Now it's not heating up. I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Design Flaws: One serious This unit looks great and cooks well. It was easy to install. However, when the unit was installed, the over stove light was turned on (High) by installers. Unaware of this, when I installed the turntable the inside of the enclosure the floor was too hot when touched and the stove light lens was so hot I burned my fingers. (Attached are Temp readings using a home grade sensor) Additional issues: 1. The end of cook/timer alert beeps only occur once. If you happen to not hear them, you could end up not knowing your cycle is complete. 2. Control buttons do not always sense finger touches. You often have to press more than once to get the button to activate. 3. The viewing window is so small, it is difficult to see food. not possible for short users. 4. Though the grey interior is very nice looking, when combined with the dim interior light adds to the difficulty seeing the food when it is cooking. 5. Bottom mount grease filters do not completely seal and sometimes fall out

Bought new in 2017. Had capacitor replaced in June 2018 for $160 and a couple days ago it turned on all by its self and started smoking. Capacitor needs replacing again. I notified LG and they said sorry to get it serviced again is all they can do.
