Replaced old LG Microwave with new LG microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old LG microwave died after 10 years of excellent service. I shopped around and ended up replacing it with the updated version of the same microwave. Have to say that I do like it just as well as the old one. The control panel is a little easier to operate in that the touch pad is more sensitive. The only drawback is that I cannot see in the window while it's cooking as the window is too blacked out and I'm too short to see in the section that's not blacked out. I also liked the white interior versus the now gray interior, as I found it easier to see inside, but that's a personal preference.

First time over the range experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product has been installed for a week. Functions fine although 1000 watt cooking is much slower than 1100 watts on my countertop model. Definite drawbacks are the dark interior with insufficient lighting and the small window opening which prevents short in stature people from being able to monitor cooking progress.

Fast and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the Microwave along with a new oven. Love them both. The Microwave was very easy to install. The template included worked great and the instructions were easy to follow. I have installed these overhead units before and this one was the easiest I have done. The controls are easy to use and understand. The door has a dark band on the lower half and it makes it hard to see what you are cooking if you are not very tall. Other than that, we are very happy with the appliance.
