It's so quiet you can actually listen to TV without hearing the dreadful sound of our old microwave's turning table. My favorite part of this product is how it defrosts food, especially bread and my morning bagel :) I wasn't expecting much after I defrosted my frozen bagel... But it literally came out perfect!!! Everything comes out amazing and I couldn't be more happy with how all my food tastes! Between TV's, phones, and other appliances, you must know LG is all ALL about quality, and this microwave is proof of that as well! Thanks LG! Life's Good... and tastes good too!

Good but (installation & door issues)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this as a replacement for an 8 year old LG over-the-counter microwave. We hoped that the mounting would be the same as our previous micro; well it wasn't! One of the bolts was moved about an inch and the cord was in a different place. The new bottom bracket looked very much like the old one so we left the old one in place; that didn't work. We then used the new bottom bracket but it is about 1/8 inch shorter than the old bracket (when using the existing screws in the wall) and therefore the micro wouldn't fit under the shelf above it. Finally I modified the old bracket and we were able to mount the new micro.
Now comes the next surprise. The door, which looks like a large almost totally transparent piece of glass from the outside, is more than half opaque on the inside, i.e. you can't see through most of the door! Unfortunately, it's the bottom of the door that is opaque so if you are less than about 5' 7" tall you can't see into the micro when it's on.
