My New Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product after my previous microwave broke (still worked with the door open- different brand). Things I like... it doesn't keep beeping constantly if you forget something in it. It is also very good at reheating a dinner plate evenly. The popcorn does not burn when using the button. It is easy to clean out, except for the extra grooves make it difficult to be sure that I got it all. What do I not like? The plate/lip is higher than my last one was so I have multiple times spilled almost a whole cup of coffee inside it. All in all I like it.
Pros: Features/Settings, Performance, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We looked at several microwaves before deciding on this one because of the easy clean feature (and it REALLY does clean easily)! We also liked the melt feature. The only thing that is VERY different from my old microwave is the start and stop buttons are in the middle of the keypad instead of at the bottom and that has taken some getting used to! Other than that, we love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The control panel works well with many options available. I like the fact that it will shut off after not being used for a while. As soon as you touch the panel again it will come alive automatically. This saves energy.

Very Happy BUT Some Design Quirks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this product for about a month. Overall we are very pleased. We mostly like how quietly it operates and the touch pad controls. from a design perspective we agree with many of the other reviews concerning difficulty seeing what is cooking through the door. We can add a couple more small issues. One, for some odd reason the clock cannot be set to stay on. It illuminates while cooking then goes off after a few minutes. It can be lit for a few minutes using the "econ" button, but still goes dark after a few minutes. We thought we had just missed a setting that would correct this, however, a loose page addendum was enclosed with the user guide stating specifically that the clock cannot be set to be always on. (very odd).
Secondly, the over the stove light bulb blew out today (hopefully not a sign of things to come). I tried to find the correct replacement bulb type in the manual, but unless I missed it, it wasn't noted anywhere I found the section that specified HOW to replace the bulb, but not the type. When I looked under the microwave to remove the bulb cover, I noticed a notation to use a 50 watt Halogen bulb. Well, that answered most of my question, BUT the sticker underneath the microwave was affixed so that it faced the wall. I had to assume a very interesting position to read it!
Overall we like this product, but the small "cons" we have are very strange. Hopefully, the "cons" will remain small.
